CARBON BALANCED BUSINESS
We have a more holistic approach to going ‘carbon neutral’ which we call Carbon Balanced. This is a 4 step consultancy process:
step 1 – carbon footprint (understanding your impact) - we work with you to establish or verify your organisations carbon footprint, estimating the total greenhouse gas emissions associated with your business.
step 2 – carbon reduction strategy (reducing your impact) - we help you develop a basic plan to reduce your footprint.
step 3 – carbon compensation (community carbon offset projects) - we arrange to compensate for your greenhouse gas emissions through CLEVEL’s community carbon offset projects.
This completes your status as Carbon Balanced and you can now use our certification and trademarks for communicating in your markets and with stakeholders. Not all organisations will wish to purchase carbon offsets, but will still be interested in our 4th step service.
step 4 – carbon + (engage and communicate) - with the basic work done, we offer clients our Carbon + workshops, tailor made to engage teams in the further develop, integration and communication of your environmental vision.
Our approach to carbon consulting is to work closely with you, at whatever stage you are at, and to provide you with the tools and skills you need to make carbon management a part of ongoing business – reducing future consultancy fees. Our day rates are very competitive and we also offer fixed cost basic Carbon Balanced packages for smaller business.
