Groundhouse – Low Carbon Design Innovation
CLEVEL has worked on Low Carbon eco builds since 2001 when we orchestrated and co-founded the Low Carbon Trust to deliver a prototype earthship in Brighton. After the first project, CLEVEL pulled together further funding and lead a professional team through a feasibility study to look at using the earthship design for a residential housing development. This was successfully completed and lead onto us securing full planning permission for a 16 unit eco village on land overlooking the Brighton Marina. Most recently we designed and built the Groundhouse featured on Grand Designs. This project can currently be accessed off www.groundhouse.com.
Other design work is currently 
underway on HOTBOXX, a revolutionary new way of slow cooking to save half of the energy and carbon usually involved in developed world cooking. Although we can’t reveal any details of this exciting product on here, we are currently looking for a lead investor to help us bring this product to market.
