CARBON BALANCED FLIGHTS

Any air flight contributes to global warming through emissions of the main greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide (CO2). Working with C LEVEL, Eyenetwork has developed the Carbon Calculator to provide a clear understanding of this impact – the Carbon Footprint of your travel – if you decide to fly instead of videoconference.

The Carbon Footprint of a flight is the amount of CO2 produced, measured from the amount of aviation fuel consumed.

Use the calculator to work out how much CO2 you will not be releasing into the atmosphere by using Eyenetwork to arrange your videoconference meeting.

C LEVEL PROJECT INFORMATION

CLEVEL carbon compensation projects are run with international partners to deliver tangible multiple benefits.  They are designed to compensate for the CO2 of your carbon footprint and also to provide significant social, ecological or health benefits on the ground.

Compensation for flights is delivered through:

Rainforest restoration. CLEVEL’s carbon compensation project in Uganda is replanting deforested zones within key national parks to deliver CO2 uptake and restoration of vital ecosystems.

Efficient Cooking Stoves. CLEVEL and our clients are funding compensation projects that will help reduce CO2 emissions and provide communities with long term cash savings and health benefits.
